How it works
The free 30-minute operations checkup is a phone or video call about how your business runs today. Here's what it covers and how it works.
This is general business guidance, not legal, tax or accounting advice.
What the free checkup covers
- Business formation: How your business is set up today, and the questions worth taking to a lawyer or accountant before you change anything.
- Payroll: How you pay yourself and anyone who works for you, and which steps and tools are involved.
- Bookkeeping: How money coming in and going out gets recorded, and who keeps the books up to date.
- Licenses and permits: A list of the licenses and permits to check on with your city, county or state for your type of business.
- Funding readiness: Which records and documents to get organized before you look at loans or other funding.
Three simple steps
- Book the free checkup. Fill in the short form. We read your request and email you within one business day to pick a time for the call.
- We review together. On a 30-minute phone or video call we go through how your business runs today: how work moves, which tools you use, and who owns what.
- You get a written plan. Afterward we email you a short written summary with one or two next steps to look at first.
Who it's for
New and small business owners, and people getting ready to launch, who want clearer processes, simpler systems or a better handle on day-to-day operations. You don't need to prepare anything or share financial documents to book.
